JEE is conducted in two stages – JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the initial entrance examination that is applicable for direct admission in various CFTIs and NITs. Furthermore, it is also an eligibility test for the JEE Advanced. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2021 can only appear for JEE Advanced 2021 to enter the next round of admission.
JEE Main 2021
JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in four sessions in February, March, April, and May. The online application process for JEE Main 2021 will start from December 16, 2020 and forms will be made available only in the online mode. The last date to fill and submit the application form is January 16, 2021.
JEE Main 2021 Application Form
JEE Main 2021 application forms for the February exam session will be released on December 16, 2020. The forms would be made available online (only) and no offline forms would be accepted. Candidates can visit the official website of JEE and can fill their forms online. Candidates must register and submit their application forms before January 16, 2021. Candidates need to fill the same form for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Candidates need to register on the official website by filling in personal details like name, gender, date of birth, ID card details etc.
Step 2- Fill JEE Main 2021 Application Form
· In this step, candidates need to fill exam-related details like the Paper they want to appear for, examination center choice, preferred language etc.
· It would help if you also generated a password at this stage, which you will require to login into your account later
Step 3: Uploading the documents
Next step is to upload the documents in the prescribed size and format
Step 4: Pay JEE Main Application Fee
To complete the application process for JEE Main 2021, you need to pay the prescribed application fee
Step 5: Download the form
Check all the details submit the form and take a printout of the same
Aadhaar Provision: Aadhaar card is one of the mandatory documents required for filling the JEE Main 2021 application form. It helps the NTA to cross-check details filled in by the candidate. Candidates must furnish details like Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, and gender in the application form. Thus, students who don't have an Aadhaar card yet are suggested to apply for the same to sit for the JEE exam. (Exceptions for applicants from Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, and Assam)
Candidates must have a working Email ID and contact number in order to apply for the exam. They are also required to upload recent passport size photographs, their signature, and the signature of their parents or guardians.
